Public Tours Cancellation Policy

Before Public Tours Begin:

Although rare, inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances can sometimes require us to cancel public tours.   We will announce canceled tours as soon as possible on our website and social media.  The vast majority of cancellations are due to inclement weather or the prediction of inclement weather during regularly-scheduled tour times.  Many times, we have to play this by ear, as weather can be difficult to predict in Kentucky.  Patrons are always encouraged to check our website and social media for cancellations or call/text at 859-321-4728.

During a Public Tour:

If inclement weather begins during a tour in progress, we reserve the right to pause the tour for up to 15 minutes in hopes the weather will subside.  If the inclement weather does not subside within the 15 minute period, we will refund patrons’ admission price if the tour was still within the first twenty minutes before the interruption.  If the tour was in progress for twenty-one minutes or more before the interruption, no refunds will be administered.  All patrons by attending our tours agree to this weather policy.
