All tours depart from the street outside of the Lexington Visitors Center, located at 401 West Main Street, in the Victorian Square Shoppes and just opposite Triangle Park and Rupp Arena. Please arrive ten minutes early as tours start promptly on the hour.
Most street parking is free after 5pm, and plenty of it can be found near our meeting place. There are also a number of pay lots in the vicinity of the Visitors Center, as well as the Victorian Square Parking Garage (entrance on Short Street, which is one block north).
Tours require a minimum of 10 adults or $100.00. Tours may require a credit card to hold the reservation. Cancellations must be made 24-hours ahead of your scheduled appointment. If a cancellation is not made within the prescribed window, we reserve the right to charge the credit card used during your reservation for the entire tour amount. We will wait on private tour parties for fifteen minutes after the appointed start time of your tour. After fifteen minutes, you forfeit your appointment and we reserve the right to charge the credit card used during your reservation for the entire amount. The one exception to this cancellation policy is if inclement weather threatens to disrupt the tour. Any cancellations requested within the 24-hour window before your scheduled private tour on the grounds of inclement weather are approved at our discretion. All patrons, by scheduling a private tour, agree to this policy.
Although we have never used it, we retain the right to cancel any private tour.
